How do I list an item on Kalarah?

Listing on Kalarah is simple and easy.

To get started, sellers are invited to complete a short submission form, which takes only a few minutes. You will be asked to provide basic details about your item(s)and upload clear photos of the pieces you wish to list.

Once we receive your sub,ission, our team carefully reviews each item to ensure it aligns with Kalarah's curation standards. If your item is approved, you will receive a confirmation email from us along with access to our Seller Guide.

Who can sell on Kalarah?

Kalarah is open to individuals looking to give a second life to pre-owned pieces from African and South Asian designers.

We accept submission from sellers whose items align with our curated focus on quality, craftmanship, and design. Each piece is carefully reviewed to ensure it reflects Klarah's aesthetic, values, and standards before being approved for listing.

Whether you are a private seller, a collector, or a fashion enthusiast with thoughtfully selected pieces from African or South Asian designers, you are welcome to apply.

What types of items do you accept?

Kalarah accepts high-end, pre-owned fashion pieces from African and South Asian designers, including ready-to-wear, handbags, jewelry, and select accessories.

Items may be submitted in a range of conditions, provided their condition is clearly and accurately disclosed at the time of submission.

How long does the submission process take?

Submitting an item takes only a few minutes.

Reviews are generally completed within 48 hours, and sellers are notified by email.

What happens after I submit my items?

Once your items are submitted, our team carefully reviews each submission to ensure it meets Kalarah curation standards.

All communication is handled via email. Within 48 hours, you will receive an email notifying you of the outcome. If your items are approved, the email will include next steps along with access to our seller guidelines details, outlining how to proceed with listings your items on Kalarah.

How will I know if my item is approved?

Sellers are notified by email within 48 hours, regarding the approval status of their items.

Do you purchase items outright or sell them on consignment?

Kalarah currently operates on a peer-to-peer consignment model. We do not purchase items outright at this time.

Approved items are listed on the platform and sellers earn a comission once their item is sold. Full details regarding our comission structure and prcess are shared with sellers upon approval.
